You will receive a text message confirming that "John" was added to your Favorites.

Talk TO EMAIL
How to send hands free Talk-2-email messages:
- Set up your account and add e-mail contacts to your address book. (see directions below)
- Call 916-94-SPEAK.
- At the tone...
- Say, Email, then the name of the contact you want to message. (For example, Email John)
- OR say 2 to send e-mail. Then say the initials of the contact want to message (for example, 2JK2).
- Leave a normal voice message up to 120 seconds.
- Speak slowly and clearly for best results.
The voice message you record will be converted to text and sent typed out as an email message to the contact specified by the name or initials in your address book!
Example: Email John, I'm running 15 minutes late. Start the metting without me.
Example: 2JK2. Hey John, I'm just trying out SayType's voice recognition serivce.
How to Set up your account:
- Make sure your phone is set to “Caller ID enabled / Call privacy-off”, or prefix the phone number with “*82” (e.g. *829169477325) as an alternative to enabling caller ID.
- Activate your account by calling or texting 916-947-7325).
- At the tone, say "Testing 1, 2, 3" and hang up.
- After you hang up, you will receive a text confirming your activation.
- If you do not receive text messages or are calling from a landline wait two minutes before logging in to your account with your phone number.)
- Now you can log in to your address book.
- Click the "Log in" link in the upper right corner of the webpage.
- Enter your ten digit phone number twice.
- Enter a valid e-mail address and select a new password.
- Add e-mail addresses to you custom e-mail contact list.
